New DataLine service: Disaster Recovery Service (DRaaS)

With the new service, you can quickly restore VMware virtual machines to the DataLine cloud in the event of a main site failure.

As part of the DRaaS service, customers will be able to quickly recover to the DataLine cloud in the event of an on-premise virtualization disaster or in the cloud of another service provider. In this case, any of the three DataLine sites in Moscow and St. Petersburg will be available for recovery.

Integration of the DRaaS service with the vCloud Director control panel enables the client to independently configure and control the replication and recovery process from a single interface. Thus, the client will be able to configure replication tasks, to set network settings for recovery on the backup site, RPO from 5 minutes and up to 24 recovery points.

The basic version of the service includes VMware vCloud Availability licenses for each virtual machine, resources on the backup site on the Pay-As-You-Go model, and assistance in initial replication setup. In the extended version, DataLine specialists are ready to help with the development, implementation and testing of a DR plan.

The new service will add to DataLine's line of disaster recovery services, which including disaster-proof cloud with synchronous data replication based on two OST and NORD sites, and virtual machine recovery to the DataLine cloud using Veeam Cloud Connect Replication.
