DataLine launches the last NORD-4 module and shares its plans for 2018

DataLine has put the last NORD‑4 power park into operation. Now the data center is in full operation. And it is one of the largest commercial data centers in Russia: installed capacity – 20 000 kVA, number of racks – 2016. Therefore, today the total capacity of DataLine data centers is 4711 racks.

First NORD-4 rooms were put into operation in February 2015. The data center is designed and built in compliance with the Uptime Institute TIER III standards. In June 2015 DataLine obtained the Design certificate, and in March 2016 the company certified the complete Facility. At the end of 2017 the first NORD-4 power module successfully passed the data center Operational Sustainability certification.

NORD-4 data center also provides spare office space for our clients: open space, dedicated workplaces, meeting rooms and canteen. Utilities, telephony and Internet are provided in the office wing, as well as a separate entrance from the reception hall. New NORD-4 rooms have already been reserved by several large customers. At this point the client equipment is being installed.

DataLine has also shared its plans for 2018. In Q1 a new 120-rack room will be launched in OST data center. In addition, the company is currently selecting a site to build a new data center in Moscow. The expected design capacity of the new DC is minimum 1000 racks. With further capacity expansion, DataLine will keep the leading position in the commercial data center rating in Russia.
