DataLine launched a virtual infrastructure service based on OpenStack by Tionix
Thanks to the service, clients get access to the cloud on the domestic virtualization platform Tionix and will be able to work with solutions based on open source software OpenStack.
In the new service, clients get access to scalable and disaster-proof virtual resources: processors, RAM and disk space, which form a full-fledged virtual data center for the client. The client has functional panel Tionix in Russian, where the client can create virtual machines based on Windows and Linux, internal networks, and manage access to resources.
The cloud is created on high-performance 4-socket servers based on 3.1 GHz Intel Gold Cheop 6264 processors and Infinibox enterprise-level storage with 16 GB FC connectivity. All equipment is located in the Tier III data center with uninterrupted power and cold supply.
"We have long wanted to build a cloud based on OpenStack. We accumulated expertise and are very happy that we have found an experienced partner in Russia, together with whom we can provide high-quality service and prompt Russian-language technical support," comments Mikhail Solovyov, product development Director. — "The new service will allow clients to meet the requirements for using domestic software and use the familiar OpenStack API for automating work with cloud resources."
The cloud on the Tionix platform is targeted at companies that adhere to the policy of import substitution. The Tionix solution is based on open source software, it is included in the Unified register of Russian programs, and is compatible with Russian software and hardware.
A detailed service level agreement (SLA) guarantees 99.95% service availability, 10 minutes incident response time, and 2000 IOPS disk system performance for 1 TB SSD.
